TRANS-N-CENTER “MAXI”

The main news of 2006 is represented by the evolution of the TRANS-N-CENTER, line of flexible transfer machines equipped with 3-axis (or 4-axis) multi-process centers.

The new TRANS-N-CENTER named “MAXI” is based on the use of a flexible module 3‑axis integrated with a 15-tool magazine (patented by Buffoli in 2005).

The TRANS-N-CENTER “MAXI”
is a new innovative concept of flexible transfer machine that avoids  the typical defects of transfers equipped with turret heads (revolver units), allowing the production
of whatever is possible to obtain by means of 4 or 5 axis machining centers, but with lower cycle times and lower tooling costs and with the possibility to perform high accuracy static turning operations and single point threading.

The machine has been presented on the Italian review Tecnologie Meccaniche in March 2006 as “Machine of the Month”.
