Buffoli Transfer produces a wide range of Rotary Transfer Machines (RTM) for high volume production of aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass (including lead-free), bronze and copper parts.
Horizontal axis trunnion machines (TR) have up to 20 stations and up to 3 spindles per station. These machines can be quickly changed over and can run unattended for hours, particularly if equipped with a bar feeder or a wire feeder (see our TRANS-BAR line, the landmark for precision turning from non-rotating bars). They can be equipped with 3-axis spindles or lathes for complex parts machining.
Vertical axis suspended table machines (TG) have up to 24 stations with up to 4 spindles per station and can be equipped with rotating jaws or rotating fixtures. They are suitable for very complex parts machining (see our MILL AND TURN line for precision turning with multiple lathes integrated with a rotary table).
The TRANS-N-CENTER line has been designed to furtherly improve versatility, being equipped with patented multi-spindle compact modules (MPM) or tool changers. The 3-axes 3-spindles MPMs equip the TRANS-N-CENTER FAST offering a tool-change time of only 0.4 seconds. Short operations, such as drilling, tapping and chamfering can be performed in one station. The 3-axes allow for off-center or interpolated milling.
