At EMO 2015 we presented the latest innovation in terms of flexible machines at high productivity and precision: the TRANS-N-CENTER ULTRA-52, equipped with 52 spindles, all with 3 axes for totally 167 CNC axes (table diameter: 2700 mm with 12 CNC rotating chucks – table rotation 0.9 sec – chuck rotation 90° in 0.5 sec – tool change tool-to-tool in 0.6 sec – chip-to-chip a 8000 rpm in 1 sec).

For Buffoli the presence at EMO 2015 has been successful. Our booth of 168 sqm has involved visitors in a multimedia experience and then accompanied them in a large indoor area inspired by EXPO 2015, where we presented a technology tour among components and applications of our CNC multi-spindle transfer machines. A booth of great impact in innovation and technology, so it has been noted and “captured” from the evening edition of TG1 (national news) on 8th October. In particular we have presented:

• A super flexible transfer machine with 12 rotating chucks and 52 qty. 3-axis spindles (below you can see the video of rotating table, of rotating chucks and of 3-axis modules with two or three independent spindles). To learn more about the new flexible machine TRANS-N-CENTER ULTRA-52 • A patented working module with 4 independent motor spindles which allows the tool change at 12.000 rpm, with an option till to 20.000 rpm, in only 1.9 sec. chip-to-chip (below you can see the relevant video and a design of flexible machine with 60 spindles, all with CNC 3 axes). • The new operating units on linear guides with motor in a center of the spindle - without pulley (up to 15.000 rpm) and the motor spindles up to 60.000 rpm, as well as the patented units equipped with tool magazine and the patented multi process modules MPM. • CNC rotating chucks and jaws, also on 360.000 positions, and relevant applications. • The CNC Buffoli self-supported recessing and profiling heads. The visitors could verify the quality of realization of the CNC Buffoli recessing and profiling heads and the precision of machining. • The Buffoli special chucks for the machining operations from bar, designed to ensure high centering precision. • The polygonal head and the milling head to quickly carry out hexagons and profiles. • The rotation system of the quill on units on which the multi process module MPM is based (it allows the tool change in only 0.4 sec chip-to-chip and allows to contain the dimensions of a 3-axis unit and the realization of flexible machines of compact dimensions and therefore more precise). • The Buffoli CNC with its features of power, speed and simplicity (control of a high number of axes, interpolation speed, use of a standard PC and of all identical cards). • The Buffoli software for the simplified Buffoli tabular programming, the multimedia diagnostics, the tele-service. • The rapidity in tooling of Buffoli machines. • An application area for precision machines from forged or cast or machined parts (different materials). • An application area for precision machines from bar (different materials).
