We hereby announce the demonstration of our latest technology with three of our newest generation machines during week 50. (10-15 December 2001).Our demonstration highlights: Flexibility, Rotating Jaws, Cross Slides, Compact and Fast 4-Axis Multi-Process Modules, Machining from bar or from blanks, 47 CNC Controlled Axes on one Machine, 6 Direction machining in one clamping, Robot with vision system and automatic unloading of defective blanks.

MULTI-WAY 3D-TG10MR-23-CNC
NEW Flexible Transfer for high production with the following characteristics:

- 10 rotating jaws CNC programmable;
- 13 cross slides;
- 23 ball screw units;
- Inclinable units;
- Double independent units;
- 47 CNC controlled axes.

Tooled up for the machining of a wide range of valve bodies, collectors, Tee's and elbows, with complex profiles for quick connections. The machine offers two part processing options:
a) The part is programmed normally and the machine completes up to 5 direction machining in one complete rotation of the turret;
b) The second option allows 6 directions to be machined in two complete rotations of the turret. 

TRANS-N-CENTER
NEW BUFFOLI TRANS-N-CENTER is a new innovative concept of transfer machine. It is a "design concept" that integrates high production modules and flexible modules achieving the goal of machining a vast range of parts with transfer machine cycle times. It's advantages include: short cycle times, wide versatility, ease of programming and high precision machining in one clamping. The machine is composed of:

- CNC Rotating Chucks capable of executing programmed rotations;
- CNC 4-Axis Multi-Process module extremely compact and fast (tool positioning within 0.3-0.5 sec.) able to drill, tap or perform any interpolated milling operations;
- Special CNC profiling heads, able to carry out turning, recessing and single-point threading operations of high precision.

The combination of several modules Multi-PROcess and Multi-PROfile, placed around a rotating turret together with CNC programmable rotating chucks, guarantee a Transfer machine that is exceptionally flexible, and suitable for machining a varied family of parts. This eliminates secondary operations, ensuring high production levels, and at the same time, high quality parts in only one clamping.

Multi-Spindle Transfer machine for machining from
NON-ROTATING DOUBLE BAR
For the machining of valves, faucets as well as complex parts starting from bar stock of diameter 45 mm (or 75 mm).
 
Transfer machines of the TRANS-BAR cnc flex series machine in 2 or 3 directions (or more if custom made), starting from non-rotating bar stock of any profile and material. Manufactured in single and double bar versions (up to 8 parts/cycle and over 10.000 parts/hour). The double bar version TRDB45, which will be displayed at Buffoli, is composed of 8 stations and 12 CNC spindles.
